Familiar sounds, everything you have ever heard before. Reviews like that normally instil a feeling of foreboding, an image of a band trying to emulate their record collection and falling far short. It's only natural to be fearful but for once, your fears are unfounded.
The Belle Game's debut is everything you know but it isn't a pale imitation. It is rather a glorious love letter mixed with streaks of their own personal innate qualities. It stands alone and it stands firm. Yes, you will hear every influence. Yes, you will compare everything with bands you have know and loved, but 'Ritual Tradition Habitat' stands up against such a bombardment and still lives to play another song. Side by side with its own its own influences it still sounds fresh and accomplished enough to deserve its place.
